The one about work

Work is a mechanism by which we get resources to do the things that make life worth living.
It is a bargain which was struck long ago that said to the people that wanted to produce things.
That a portion of the gain of the things that we produce should sustain us.
That compact has been broken
How can we solve for a job that sustains and allows one to thrive, while not consuming so much of their life that they cannot find meaning elsewhere.

Work should, sustain
Work should benefit us and others
Work should be purposeful

Can we distribute the means of producing work that sustains people?
Can we build grow and maintain a commons that will express our needs in no uncertain terms against those who would loot and destroy everything.

I think so, and I think now more than ever it is time that we figure it out. So….lets figure out how to do it better, show what better looks like and propagate better.
